Connor's much-anticipated 6th birthday arrived last Friday! It started with me visiting Connor's kindergarten class to spotlight him:
Later we did cake and presents (somehow this year's balloon was even bigger than the last--remember "my friend 5" from last year?):
Then we went to dinner at his traditional birthday pick, The Mayan. It's an exciting jungle-themed place with a waterfall and divers for entertainment:
The next day, we went to Lagoon for about the 8th time this summer, and on the hottest day of August. Yep, we planned it that way. Actually, this was my sneaky way of avoiding doing a party. Here we are having birthday cupcakes with friends after hitting the waterpark:

I looked back at the birthday post for Connor's 5th. I can't believe how much he's grown up. It's funny when we see Logan and even still Fisher that they change a lot in short periods of time we don't notice the older kids changing. Connor looks like such a kid.

Connor life sort of marks my presence in the McGee world. He was 2 months when I met you. Can you believe that is how long you have had to put up with me?
Your kids are so dang cute! I remember when you were first pregnant with him. Man that has not be so long ago but yet it has.
"you bring life wherever you go" That is a cool comment. It could be on a hallmark commercial or something.
It looks like there was so much celebration for that 6 little man. What a special day for him. I love the idea of spotlighting him in school. HOw fun for them.
