Well, the dinner group is underway! THANKS for commenting and emailing me with ideas. Last week I met with the four other women and we mapped out a 3-month menu. A 3-month menu!? I think I'm in heaven. How many meals is that that I don't have to conjure and prepare? Sooo many. Five weekdays and I'm only cooking one of those days. Satisfied sigh. I like how that makes it sound like I used to cook every weekday until this started. Ha. But it's still less. I think I'll post our weekly menus on the sidebar (scroll down) in effort to share the joy. If you ask me, thinking it up is the worst part. Until it's time to cook it, that is. Shhh, don't tell my group I said that. As far as they're concerned, I was born to cook.

Do you think that if I paid a monthly fee they could grab me some dinner as well? Without me having to cook in return?
I really like this whole idea though. I wonder if it's very cost effective. I'm trying to do the math really quickly in my head right now. Cook for 30 people one night/week or 3 people (in my case) 5 nights/week. Probably not in our case, but I'm thinking you're going to save a TON on you're grocery bill.
Monday was fun. And yes it was way too hot. I was actually sweating. And not just pleasant glistening, but dripping sweat down my back... too much info? Probably.
Hey Girl, I linked from one of my friends blogs to someones blog that had your blog. I thought, could this really be the Tracy I know? When it came up I was so excited! I can not believe you have number 5. I wanted to be there but I don't think that is an option for me in my case. Hey check out my blog at
garryandersonfamily.blogspot.com. Then leave me a message or something. I can not believe it has been so long since I have talked to you. Time Flies. Your kids are so cute! I still remember Caden and Brayden hugging and kissing as they said theie good bye's. What a cute memory! I am sure they would be embarassed about it at this age, but, it was dang cute!
It was awesome to hear from you. We are in Eagle Moutain. Not that far from you. We will definatly have to get together. I really like the dinner idea. Is it worth it? Do you save any money?
I LOVE doing dinner groups. I did this at UCLA and in Seattle. It was the BEST!!! That is until you get a slacker who makes wierd meals. That is where the planning comes in so you can all talk it out with what works and what your family likes. I've tried to get it going here, but no one is interested. Odd eh? I'll have to send you my recipe for crusted ranch chicken...it is AWESOME, and totally easy.
Yum, Kristi, I'd love that recipe!
And Marla, it's pretty early in the process, but yes, I think I will save a little bit of money. Depends on the week, I think.
